Coast Events @ NATO Edge

Here at Coast, not only are we a top merchandise provider - but what you probably didn’t know is that we are also an Event Partner of the NCIA (NATO’s Technology & Cyber Experts) in which we organise & produce one of their largest tech events each year. Previously NIAS / NITEC – this year the events combined the two for an even more spectacular 3 day event in Mons, Belgium.

The event showcased how the NCI Agency supports NATO’s work on artificial intelligence, space technologies, cyber security and beyond. Giving the attendees the opportunity to learn more about the NCI Agency’s upcoming business opportunities.


With Approximately 2000 attendees & 102 exhibitors from over 40 Nations the event was bigger than ever before…


It was a highly interactive event featuring distinguished keynotes and panels, technical workshops, breakout sessions and networking. In addition to these sessions there was an epic exhibition highlighting innovations in the private sector from across the Alliance. We had companies such as AWS, Poly, Thales, Cisco & Dell (to name but a few) showcasing their current technologies at the event.



Here at Coast we organise the event from the ground up, with the help of our fantastic partnership teams of course! This includes – design, set-up & management of: exhibitors, exhibition stands, sponsorships, staffing, catering, staging, AV, signage, furniture, merchandise & all the finer details of the event (which there are far too many of to list here!)


Within the event we also coordinate a Gala Dinner for over 200 guests at the beautiful Van der Valk Congress Hotel. A Networking reception that was this year hosted by one of our wonderful exhibitors - L3 Harris & on top of this a 10th Anniversary Celebration with speeches from the NCIA team (with plenty of champagne & cake of course!)



After months of planning, 7 days of physical set-up (in which each team member averaged 20,000 steps per day!), 3 LONG event days, 2 take down days & many, many, more days of admin, accounts, and de-briefs, we have wrapped up what was a successful event from all sides.


It’s been a few weeks now and our feet have finally recovered, Emily’s inbox is almost clear & a Coast Christmas is in sight! We are all ready to relax a little – while of course fulfilling our wonderful Merchandise customers’ enquiries & orders!
